Pit Stop Video Poker Tournament
Feel a need to get out of the freeway traffic, pull in to the Gold Strike for a Fast and Easy Buffet, then play a quick 5 minute round of video poker, top scores for each hour (11a.m – 12 p.m., 12 – 1 p.m., 1 – 2 p.m.,) will be evaluated. The member with the highest score each hour will be awarded $50 in cash. The remaining cards will be placed in a drawing drum. We will select one additional winner each hour who will receive a $50 cash prize. Let the traffic go by and relax and enjoy your time with your friends and Captain Lucky!

Official Rules
1. Freeway Friday Video Poker Tournaments will be players every Sunday in March (March 3, 10, 17. and 24) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
2. Must be at least 21 years of age and a member of Gold Strike’s Cash & Comp Club to participate.
3. Gold Strike Cash & Comp Club members may have one free entry in each day’s video poker tournament. Members may earn a bonus for every 50 points they earn on their card. Limit one bonus entry per member per hour.
4. All entries, free and bonus entries are based on space availability.
5. Sessions will last five minutes. Sessions will start at zero points and will accumulate based on jackpots hit during the five minute session time. The score from each session will be recorded on an entry form by a tournament official.
6. Scores for each hour (11 a.m. – 12 noon, 12 noon – 1 p.m., and 1 – 2 p.m.) will be evaluated. The member with the highest score each hour will be awarded $50 in cash. The remaining cards will be placed in a drawing drum. We will select one additional winner each hour who will receive a $50 cash prize.
7. If a machine appears to malfunction, the player must inform a tournament official immediately. A decision as to the cause of said malfunction will be made by the tournament official. If there is an actual machine malfunction, then a new machine will be assigned to the player in question and a replacement round may be played. If there is not a machine malfunction and it is found to be an error by the customer, then a replacement round will not be offered and the score at the end of the session will be used.
8. Sessions started prior to the top of the hour will be counted towards the previous hour (for example, if a player starts a session at 12:58 p.m., then that session will count towards the 12 noon – 1:00 p.m. drawings). All score cards from sessions started in the hour will be placed in a drawing drum and a winner for a $50 cash prize will be selected. The winner must be present and claim his/her cash prize within two minutes. If the winner is not present after two minutes, we will continue drawing in the same manner until a winner is present to claim the $50 cash prize.
9. Hourly drawing winners must present their player’s club card and a valid photo ID to claim his/her prize.
10. Hourly high-score winners must claim their prize prior to the top of the next hour, or the prize is subject to forfeiture.
11. Gold Strike employees and their families are not eligible to participate.
Management reserves all rights. The decision of Gold Strike management, as to the resolution of any dispute and the interpretation of these rules shall be final.
